ICD-10 data sources
Disease codes and indicators are normalised from the bilingual ICD-10 classification officially published by the Vietnam Ministry of Health.
2026 basis
The classification and code-use indicators are cross-referenced with Circular 06/2026/TT-BYT, Decision 1849/QĐ-BYT and related Ministry guidance.
Data scope
Each code is linked to its chapter, group, official Vietnamese and English names, WHO guidance where supplied, and Ministry indicators. Missing content is never inferred.
Traditional medicine
Traditional medicine codes and ICD-10 mappings are synchronised from the Medical Services Administration portal under Decision 1978/QĐ-BYT. The official terminology is available in Vietnamese only.
Updates
Data is reviewed when a competent authority publishes an amendment. Each code page exposes its modification date in structured data.
